The IPA is proud to announce its 25th International Congress of Pediatrics, which will take place in Athens, Greece, from August 25th to 30th, 2007. A great number of speakers – outstanding specialists from all over the world – have confirmed their participation to the Congress and very soon the full Scientific Program will be announced. The program covers all major issues concerning the contemporary paediatrician in every part of the world and includes:

- Lectures
- Guidelines
- Debates
- Meet the expert lectures
- Poster and oral presentations
A series of state-of-the-art with subspecialties sessions, organized mainly on August 25th, will address issues related to paediatric allergology, dermatology, cardiology, endocrinology, infectious diseases, nephrology, surgery and others.
The program also features round tables organized by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the Union of National European Pediatric Societies (UNEPSA), the Confederation of European Pediatric Societies (CESP/EAP), the International Council of Children (ICC), the International Pediatric Chairs Association (IPCA) and Medchild.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is February 12th, 2007 and all members of the IPA community are encouraged to submit their work, thus contributing to the success of the congress.
Outside the meeting halls, the Athens Congress promises to be a memorable experience with a wealth of local sights, attractions and social events.
